Every two years, the IEEE Opole Student Branch co-organizes the International Students Conference on Electrodynamics and Mechatronics (SCE). The goal of the conference is to present the latest research and results of young scientists (preferred students, PhD Students, and young post-doc scientist) related to electrodynamics and mechatronics topics. The SCE gives all participants a chance to share technical experiences and possibility to make new international contacts. Besides, the conference can be a good opportunity to explore Polish country.
In 2011, the IEEE Opole Student Branch together with IEEE Poland Section, Poland Section MAG Chapter and Opole University of Technology (assisted by Student Research Group ELEDYN) are organizing the third edition of this conference. The 3rd SCE will be held at Opole University of Technology on 6 – 8th of October 2011.
The conference will consist of three main subjects: "Materials in Electrical Engineering" (dia-, para-, ferro- magnetism, nano-structures, semiconductors, dielectrics, etc.), "Electrodynamics" (numerical methods, field calculation methods, Computer Aided Design (CAD) in electrodynamic problems, measurement methods for low and high frequencies, high frequency technology, antennas and wave propagation, etc) and "Mechatronics" . The working language will be English. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and included in the IEEE Xplore on-line digital library also will be printed in the book "Electrodynamic and Mechatronic Systems", B. Tomczuk, A. Waindok, J. Zimon ISBN 978-1-4244-9692-1
From 9 -11th of October 2011, the conference organizers provides a "Three Day Tour". During the excursion the participants will visit historical places, taste polish traditional dishes and enjoy beautiful landscapes.
More information about the conference and "Three Day Tour" will be available soon on the conference website www.ssne.po.opole.pl
